Our Approach

A method you can hold us to

Process only matters if it survives a difficult week. Ours is written down, followed on every engagement and visible to you at each step.

The hard part of a digital project is rarely the code or the campaign. It is deciding what to do first, agreeing what finished looks like, and keeping both honest once the work is underway.

Everything below exists to protect those three things — because when they hold, delivery takes care of itself.

The Method

Five phases, applied to every engagement

Whether the work is an infrastructure migration or a paid media rebuild, it moves through the same sequence — only the depth of each phase changes.

01

Discovery

We learn the business before we touch the tooling. That means the commercial goal, the constraints, the systems already in place and the people who will live with the result. Nothing gets proposed until we can describe your situation back to you accurately.

  • Stakeholder interviews and goal definition
  • Review of current systems, accounts and assets
  • Constraints, dependencies and risk mapping
02

Strategy & Scope

Findings become a plan with an order to it. We separate what changes the outcome from what merely feels urgent, then write the scope, the milestones and the definition of done so both sides are agreeing to the same thing.

  • Prioritised roadmap with clear sequencing
  • Written scope, deliverables and acceptance criteria
  • Responsibilities assigned on both sides
03

Design & Architecture

Interfaces, system structure and campaign frameworks are drafted and reviewed before anyone commits effort to building them. Changing a diagram is inexpensive. Changing a deployed platform is not.

  • Wireframes, interface design and content structure
  • Technical architecture and integration planning
  • Channel structure and measurement design
04

Build & Launch

Delivery happens in increments you can see and comment on. Each one is tested, reviewed and released against the agreed milestone, so progress is never a matter of taking our word for it.

  • Incremental development with staged review
  • Testing, quality assurance and pre-launch checks
  • Controlled release and post-launch verification
05

Measure & Improve

Launch is the beginning of the useful data. We monitor behaviour, report on what it means and feed the findings straight back into the roadmap — so each cycle starts better informed than the last.

  • Performance monitoring and health checks
  • Regular reporting with recommendations attached
  • Continuous refinement against agreed priorities
Working Principles

The rules that keep the method intact

A process is only as good as the habits behind it. These are the ones we refuse to trade away when a schedule tightens.

Clarity before speed

Nothing enters the build queue until the requirement is unambiguous. Fast work on a vague brief is the most expensive kind.

Small, visible increments

Work arrives in pieces you can review while there is still time to change direction without cost.

One source of truth

Decisions are recorded in one place, not spread across three inboxes and a phone call nobody remembers.

Measure what you change

If a change cannot be observed in the data, we say so up front rather than claiming credit for it later.

Finish before starting

Open work is tracked and closed. We would rather deliver three things properly than keep eight in progress.

Escalate early

Bad news travels immediately. Problems are cheaper to solve on the day they appear than at the review.

Working Together

How we fit alongside your team

We are not a black box that returns a deliverable at the end of the quarter. We plug into the way your organisation already communicates and make our progress visible inside it.

Shared workspace

Tasks, decisions and files live where your team can reach them at any hour.

A fixed rhythm

Scheduled check-ins with an agenda, so meetings replace confusion rather than create it.

Clear decision rights

Everyone knows which calls are ours, which are yours and which need both signatures.

Written record

Every agreement is summarised in writing, so nothing depends on who remembers what.

Standards

Quality and security commitments

These apply to every engagement by default. They are not add-ons and they are not negotiated away to hit a date.

Engineering quality

  • Code reviewed by a second engineer before release
  • Version control on every project, without exception
  • Staging environments that mirror production
  • Accessibility and performance checked before launch
  • Documentation written alongside the build

Security & data

  • Least-privilege access on all systems we touch
  • Credentials held in managed secret storage only
  • Backups configured and restoration tested
  • Dependencies monitored and patched on schedule
  • Client data handled under written confidentiality

Communication

You will never have to ask how it is going

Reporting is scheduled rather than requested. Each update answers the same three questions: what moved, what it means, and what we are doing next.

  1. 01

    Progress updates

A short written summary of completed work, active items and anything blocked.

  2. 02

    Performance review

Platform and campaign results explained in context, with recommendations attached.

  3. 03

    Planning session

A working call to re-rank the roadmap against what the data and the business now say.

  4. 04

    Immediate escalation

Anything urgent reaches you the same day, outside the schedule, through a direct channel.
